Halloween has well and truly arrived in the Toddler room at Rocking Horse this week! The children have been participating in a variety of Halloween arts and crafts, pumpkin carving, dressing up, face painting and not to forget partying! From stencil paintings to Halloween confetti gluings we have been in touch with our artistic side up here this week. Pumpkin carving has been a big hit, the toddlers wanted to look up different pumpkin faces to get some ideas and if I do say so myself our pumpkins are looking amazing! Our Halloween party was a great success this afternoon all of our friends came to join in the fun and it was a great opportunity for all the children to play and join in together. We all had a ball dancing and playing Halloween games. Our artistic skills were put to the test when the face paints came out but after all the stress things finally fell into place.. although were all looking a bit worse for wear now after the face rubbing, snacks, teas and drinks!
