Splish, Splash, Splosh!

This morning the Toddlers at Rocking Horse took a walk around the Figgy park. Before leaving nursery we all got our wellie boots on as the children were keen to go hunting for muddy puddles to jump in! This has been an interest within the Toddler room over the last few days with our summer weather doing what it does best! The puddles in the park were few and far between so the toddlers made the decision that they wanted to jump and splash in the river! (the posh name for the figgy burn!)  At first it was very cold but we soon got over that and had a ball splashing our friends and stomping around in the water and of course the falling over! Sad faces all around when we had to head back to nursery! This has been topic of conversation all day with the children asking when we can go back to the Figgy to jump in the river!
