Rocking Horse – Beanies – Food Tasting

The Beanies have been exploring their senses during the month of June.  This week we focussed on our sense taste.

The children tasted a variety of different items including a lemon, lime, custard and pickled gherkins.

All the children participated enthusiastically and were able to express their likes and dislikes by being vocal or using their facial expressions.

    

By participating in this activity, the children have had the opportunity to participate and enjoy a range of experiences and communicate and express their needs and feelings and to have these understood.
