This week as part of food and the environment in our Eco-Schools, The Investigators have been very busy planting their cucumber, cauliflower, cabbage and sweetcorn outside, this helps promote the children’s understanding of where food comes from and how it grows. We have been very excited watching the vegetables spout indoors, we are now looking forward to see the progression of them outdoors. We have been monitoring our vegetables that were planting in the recent months and are very happy that they are nearly ready (potatoes and carrots). The Investigators have had to take on the role of looking after their vegetables and caring for them as they did with our raspberry bush that has returned again this year producing even more raspberries!
