Yesterday was a trip to Portobello beach, where of course we had to take our socks and shoes off and run in and out of the sea trying to avoid the small waves coming in. While today at Figgate Park the children gathered and choose some natural objects to use in the water. The children took turns to investigate what objects would float and what would sink. They watched the water to see what way the stream was flowing this helped the to identify what way the object would float down the stream.
