Mini beast fun at Rocking Horse!

The boys and girls in the toddler room have taken an interest in Mini beasts this month. We have been busy with a variety of arts and crafts using symmetry to make beautiful butterfly paintings. Our trip to Butterfly and insect world was a great success for the children to get a glimpse of the real thing! Thanks to the staff at Butterfly world we each got the chance to touch, feel and hold a caterpillar, butterfly, a tarantula, a bearded dragon, a snake and last but not least a tortoise! The boys and girls got stuck into holding them and touching them and were much more enthusiastic than the teachers!
