Yesterday the garden at Rocking Horse had a mini revamp, we have been slowly gathering items to create a loose parts play resources area. More will be added as it is sourced, but already the children have been exploring the resources and putting them to use as ramps for cars, mini slides for balls to go down, assault courses and a make shift den.
Talking of a den, we have created one in the garden, we are still to source some flooring (that will be with us soon). This has created a place for the children to make their own, as we provide them with a variety of pillows and blankets.
We have made the most of the cable drums donated to us, and created a table with crates as seats and in the front garden area a wooden drum has been placed for when the children are chalking.
