Today as part of Lunch the children enjoyed tasting our very own home-grown potatoes that we harvested from our vegetable patch in the garden.
The children who have been watering the vegetable plants regularly as one of their Eco school responsibilities, had the job of assisting in the digging, gathering of and cleaning of the potatoes before they were cooked as part of lunch.
We were hoping our home-grown carrots would be ready to be harvested today, but hopefully next time.
