Home Grown Lettuce and Plant Care @ Rocking Horse

This afternoon the children at Rocking Horse decided it was time to harvest our lettuce. Using our new child friendly knifes we began to chop it down. After a lot of cutting, the lettuce eventually came off its stem. The children decided to give the lettuce to turbo, so after a little rinse in water turbo enjoyed some nice fresh, crisp home grown lettuce.

We were later joint by The Beanies to water all our flowers and also our other vegetables that are still going. We look forward to them fully growing so that we can harvest and taste them.
