When was the last time you channelled your inner Superhero? This morning we done just that down at Seabeach. We dusted off our capes and pulled on our masks before storming the beach to compete in the Ultimate Superhero Charity Challenge! Everyone from Spiderman and women to Frozen’s Anna and Elsa with a few ninjas and Batmen/women in between, were out in force, not forgetting Mighty Mouse! (we made for quite a sight)
We held a mini triathlon which saw us running, crawling and running backwards to the finish line. This was our main event and all our little heroes done extremely well! After this we had a host of other races including a sack race, egg and spoon, bean bag toss…Even the mummies, daddies and grannies got involved in their own egg and spoon race, it all got very intense!
A brilliant (not to mention tiring) time was had by all therefore the only way to round it off was a picnic in the park. It was a great day for lunch al fresco.
All sponsors/donations this year are going to Forth One’s ‘Cash for Kids’, This is a charity that strive to help children throughout Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife, an extremely worthy cause I’m sure you’ll agree.
