The Beanies at Rocking Horse paid a little visit to Dynamic Earth to explore the soft play. The Beanies have been very interested in under the sea animals, so this was the perfect opportunity to explore “Ocean Commotion.”
There was a big submarine that we could climb into and a sea inspired sensory tube. We made excellent use of the ball pool, which proved very popular for all the children! There were also lovely paintings and pictures on the walls of various sea animals, including an octopus, a whale and lots of varieties of fish. We were also greeted by a deep sea diver!
There was also beautiful music playing in the background of Whales, Dolphins and waves. We found this very relaxing and so decided to purchase the CD at the gift shop and brought it back to nursery. We will be sure to listen to this throughout our nursery day to help with relaxation.
Experiences like this help the children have the freedom to express themselves and feel connected to their home environment and the wider community. Also to explore, experiment and try out new things indoor and out.
