The older Beanies have been on their travels today, going on a trip to Dobbies.
We visited Dobbies to look at all the lovely fish as our current topic is Under The Sea.
The children were very excited looking at all the different colours of the fish and under the water creatures. We even met a Hermit Crab!
When the children came back to nursery, they made gluings of the colourful fish they saw whilst on their outing.
These experiences have enabled the children to feel connected to their home environment and the wider community and have opportunities to be actively involved in decision making. They have also had the opportunity to participate and enjoy a range of experiences.
We would like to say a big thank you to Dean’s Nana Kate for helping us on the bus. The children were very eager to sit beside her and look out the window!
