As the Beanies have been interested in Transport recently we decided to take a trip out to the Airport. The beanies got the chance to experience different modes of transport to go to see the Aeroplanes. Our first adventure was our bus journey up to the tram stop. Afterwards we got to ride on a tram all the way out to the Airport, the children really enjoyed the tram watching what as going on around them, the different noises and all the public getting on and off! We parked up for a picnic on the grass when we arrived, enjoying our lunch in the sun watching everyone going and coming home from their holidays!
This outing gave the beanies the opportunity to feel connected to their home environment and local community, linking in with daily tasks they may do outwith nursery with their parents. It also gave us the opportunity to practice our road safety, crossing at the lights, zebra crossing and getting on and off different vehicles! A fun morning was had by all!
