The Beanies at Rocking Horse have been interested in the changes in the weather recently, so we got all wrapped up this morning and took a walk down to the Figgate Park to collect some leaves and look at the lovely Autumn colours.
The children were very eager to collect their leaves and put them in the bag to bring back to nursery, where we used these to make some lovely paintings and gluings.
From these experiences, the children were able to feel connected to the environment in the wider community and have the freedom to express themselves.
They are also able to explore, experiment and try out new things indoors and out and develop respect for the environment around them.
